Shay Tirecraft Limited began operating in April 2000 with Allan Shay peddling tires out of the back of his pick-up truck. For over nineteen years the business has continued to grow - both with the tire brands available and the automotive services offered.

In 2010 the company became a member of the National Tirecraft Team. While the company continues to be owned and operated by Allan Shay, joining the Tirecraft Team provided the company with exclusive access to tire brands which had previously been unavailable or in limited supply in Atlantic Canada. This expanded product offering provides customers with increased selection and better value.

Tirecraft is a national organization with over 130 locations across Canada. It offers many national programs to consumers including a 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee on tires.

Shay Tirecraft offers excellent service and provides Car Care Service through our Napa AutoCare banner which allows us to perform all factory required maintenance and offer Napa's "Peace of Mind" warranty which covers parts and labor for 24 months or 40 thousand km - which ever comes first.

Our full-time mechanics will keep your vehicle in excellent condition. We also have a wholesale division which covers South Western Nova Scotia and roadside service.

We are proud to serve vehicle owners from Berwick, Wolfville, New Minas, Kentville, Greenwood and other communities in the region. Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays - however, we are closed Saturdays during the off seasons.
